We have all known at one level or another somewhat come to the conclusion that the purpose of art is to invoke emotion. We have often even wondered if the emotion being invoked was just a fleeing moment of time where the artist attempted to experience a moment of pure perfection. But what if the pieces were really always there and waiting to be noticed not just in the right moment but the right time in life. A true moment of perfection does exist all around us. We toy with the sheer brilliance of our own masterpiece each and every breath. We create or live if you will the most fluid form of our craft. The one thing that we secretly hold inside. That knowing belief that we are truly special and a step above the rest. That inner most star that so impatiently we wait to be given the chance to shine. We often unknowingly but sometimes knowingly suppress these hidden abilities as we are jut too shy. What if we aren't good enough? What if they think I'm fake and I'm not? Are they going to get it? Would they really even care. Oh, the so many all to familiar stories fought deep within ourselves when we really just want to tell the world and just end all of our closet hiding of our inner most and true passions. Most of all we want to simply be understood. Its not a what we understand of the audience, but deep inside we truly just want them to know us. That inner shy self of childlike spirit overprotected as its all we have left. Unable to afford the stamina to endure the rejection of yet another dream. Clinging on to the that last shred of hope to connect on a much deeper of levels. Sharing that moment at which you last touched the surface of your elements. Feel that spark, that drive within. Set free that butterfly while holding on for the ride. Embrace that only guarantee we have, that changing one last chance. Just do it, make it happen. Feel and explore that innermost desire that makes you feel so alive. That moment of truth in space and time. We can do this, what's the worse that can happen? Right? strength introduced to doubt. The questions sit in. Some days are stronger than others and some end just as fast as they begin. But at that moment in time when you reach the threshold of excitement, that apex at which living life at that depth of beyond simply space and time. When our fingers touch beginning to mold and chip away. Forming and revealing, to share in the true now of the moment in our lives. Wishing to just be heard, needing to be understood so bad that they'd be willing to bleed to know they are alive. Sharing that moment in life that we not only saw it. But really for once felt we were it. That silent moment of satisfaction, the acclaim so rarely granted by the harshest of critics. The thing we desire the most, recognition that we truly exist. That is why we do what we do. Obsessively compulsive in or medium of choice. Continuously searching to recreate that experience not just randomly trying to unwind. We do it for that thrill of perfection in the now. That feeling of hmmf of when we actually pat ourselves on the back, job well done. Yet another fleeting moment until the winds of change pick up filling the sails of creativity. We look to share that love with the world and not just with that party of one. Someone out there surely must know that which we are going through as we just try to seek that impossible moment just shared. How can we beat that which we just saw? Can't we just stay in the glory for just a bit longer? Never ready for that cold dark journey in search of the next inspirational butterfly to make you feel alive.
